Just got my brand new Nvidia shield and have been looking at Kodi/SPMC. I love it!! Could I ask a question of the experts though! With regard to UI display settings, there are two options I understand: set the nvidia shield to 1080p and get 1080p menus. The TV then upscales to 4K.
Recientemente me he comprado una nvidia shield TV pro y estoy con la misma duda. He probado SPMC 16 y no va del todo bien, TMDB no funciona, pero si tengo escaladores. En cambio, kodi oficial funciona muy bien, pero no tengo escaladores, aunque he de reconocer que los videos se ven bastante bien, no se como esta ahora mismo el tema, ando un poco desconectado.

I know SPMC is supposed to be Shield optimised but it seems that's all 'under the hood' type stuff that if you don't really need it makes the need for SPMC questionable, for me at least. I've also got used to, and vastly prefer, the Estuary skin of Kodi vs the Confluence skin of SPMC which I find much less user friendly. Kodi 17 I have found
